I AM Tennis Inc was founded on a dream sparked by the late Coach Jamal Morgan, a trailblazer in the world of tennis. More than just a competitor, Coach Morgan was a mentor, a visionary, and a relentless advocate for making tennis accessible to all.

Our Origins

Coach Morgan’s journey in tennis began at a young age, quickly earning recognition for his skill, sportsmanship, and dedication to the game. Over the years, he competed at elite levels, trained aspiring athletes, and became a respected figure in the tennis community. However, his passion extended beyond personal success—he believed that tennis should be a sport for everyone, not just those with resources or privilege.

His dream was simple yet powerful: to break barriers, provide access, and use tennis as a platform for personal growth and community development. This vision led to the birth of I AM Tennis Inc, a nonprofit organization built to uplift, educate, and inspire players of all backgrounds.

Our Mission

At I AM Tennis, our mission is to nurture and inspire the next generation of park tennis players by embracing innovative training methods, encouraging a supportive and motivating atmosphere, and instilling a lifelong appreciation for the sport.

Through our community-based programs and grassroots initiatives, we strive to make tennis welcoming and accessible to everyone—regardless of age, background, or skill level.

Beyond developing great players, we are committed to shaping well-rounded individuals who carry the values of sportsmanship, dedication, and personal growth both on and off the court.
